Primary Masterclass Programme (Deactive)

Landau Forte College, Derby is offering the opportunity for Year 6 students to participate in a programme of activities which aims to challenge and develop their skills in small group environments.

Children who have been identified as ‘gifted and talented’ by their school can be registered by the school to work at the College in a set of 10 weekly classes with other children of similar aptitudes and abilities from other junior schools.

A new ICT Masterclass has just become available with registration beginning soon. This masterclass will run on Wednesdays.

You can register online for the following masterclasses:

  • Numeracy
  • Literacy
  • Science
  • Technology
  • ICT
  • Art
  • Performing Arts
  • Mandarin Chinese

Schools may register pupils from Friday 9th September when links will be made available.

Please Note: We anticipate high interest in these masterclasses so we ask that schools register pupils as soon as possible from the opening date above to avoid disappointment.

If you are a parent and have any questions please contact your child’s school directly.  If you are a teacher, please ensure you have all the required details needed to complete the on-line application form (please refer to the letter that was sent to your school).

If you have any remaining questions, please contact Sam Davies at the College on 01332 204040.

Please Note: Children’s participation in this programme does not influence in any way the Admissions process for the allocation of places.
