Curriculum Sports Council Olympian of the Month
Olympian of the Month
Each month the School Sport Partnership identifies an ‘Olympian or Paralympian of the Month’. This is an athlete who has competed in either the Olympic or Parlympic Games and embodies some or all of the Olympic and Paralympic Values. The information for each individual includes details on their achievements in Olympic and Paralympic Games and some of their background to demonstrate how they embody the values. Athletes will be drawn from different sports, backgrounds and levels of achievement. The programme will run at least until the summer of 2012.’
