Swiss Cheese is an animated mix of music and physical theatre devised for a performance tour of Switzerland last summer.  Although the piece is Children’s Theatre, it was a hit with tourists of all ages from all around the world.  Aiming at an international audience we tried to limit the use of the English Language, instead we communicated the folk tale with exaggerated physical gestures and music.  Hopefully the music and movement will evoke the magic of the mountains, valleys and streams of Switzerland, with a little help from our very animated mountain goats!

Landau Forte Youth Theatre from Derby will perform at The Schools’ Prom at The Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday evening.  Following the winning of an Outstanding Performance Award at The Music for youth Festival in the summer, the group of 24 teenagers from Landau Forte College have been invited to perform their original piece ‘Swiss Cheese’ in the second half of the Last Night of the Proms.
