Leavers Destinations

Post 16 StudentsThe College has strong links with Higher Education, with the overwhelming number of students progressing to their first choice University courses. We have an impressive record of entry to the most challenging degree programmes, with a significant number of students in recent years progressing to leading Universities (including Oxford and Cambridge) to study a wide range of degree courses.

Equally the College has a strong record for direct entry into employment with training, including Advanced Modern Apprenticeships and combined employment and Higher Education opportunities.

Following our usual trend, the destinations of students who left the College in 2010 were as follows:

The percentage of students going into Higher Education should be 84%, those going into employment should be 6% and those taking a gap year before going into Higher Education should be 10%.
