The Year 13 Prom is a significant event for Landau Forte College Derby Post 16 and highly anticipated by both staff and students. It is organised by the Year 13 BTEC Business group, as part of a unit within their qualification. The Prom is held in a formal venue and both the staff and students wear formal attire. In previous years venues have included Tutbury Castle and Goosdale Hall.  The 2011 Prom will be held at Shottle Hall, near Belper. The evening includes a formal three course meal, a DJ and dancing, a photographer for group and individual photos, speeches made by staff and awards given to staff and students. The Prom is a celebration of the students’ successes and achievements throughout their time at Landau Forte.  It is also a chance for both staff and students to mark the end of the Year 13’s education on a high note.
